The Art Of The Wait: Why I Don’t Rush The Tide
Share
In the world of entrepreneurship, we are taught to hustle, to push, and to 'make it happen.' But lately, I’ve been learning a much harder lesson, the power of surrender. Right now, our brand is in the hands of the ocean. Logistics, overseas production, and shipping ports don't care about our deadlines. My inventory is currently in somewhere between the factory and the port and for the first time in a long time, I have had to simply .. . wait."
It’s easy to show the polished final product every one love. It’s much harder to show the endless 12pm finishes, 6am emails, the 'Pending notifications, and the frustration of a timeline that refuses to move. But I realised that if I hide the struggle, I’m hiding the soul of the brand. We aren't a faceless bigger corporation. We are real people navigating a complex world to bring something meaningful to your door. This wait and slow movements are not a sign of failure, it’s the proof of our commitment to doing it right, rather than doing it fast. I have decided to turn this stressful morning into a high level brand moment.
Finding Stillness
A Note to the community
During this 'logistics breather, I’ve chosen to lean back into my creative side. I’ve cleared the clutter from my room desk and the noise from my mind. I’m focusing on the tiny details of the new product line we are planing to bring in. Focusing on the colour, quality of the make, Tags and logos and the way the light hits the texture of these handbags. By choosing a minimal aesthetic, I’m making a promise to you, when the boxes finally arrive, they will be filled with something that wasn't just 'produced,' but carefully 'manifested.'
Thank you for being part of this journey, and thank you for understanding that quality has its own rhythm. The ship will dock. The boxes will arrive. And because we didn't rush the process, I can look you in the eye and say, it was worth every second of the wait. Our brand is not defined by the speed of a ship, but by the strength of our vision. I am choosing clarity over clutter, and preparation over panic. The wait is part of the work. Trust the process. Embrace the stillness.
